Deep Creek Lake Vacation Rental Firm Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations & Sales, a leading vacation rental and sales firm located in McHenry, Maryland, is celebrating their tenth anniversary this month. There have been many changes in the past decade, but the company’s commitment to their guests, home owners and the community remains steadfast.

Jodi Taylor Refosco, her husband, Joe Refosco, and her brother, Chad Taylor, started the vacation rental management company in April of 2008. Each had many years of experience in the vacation rental and hospitality industries. Chad and Jodi were continuing a tradition that was started by their parents who previously owned a vacation rental firm. With only one home and no employees, Jodi, Joe and Chad did everything themselves. From lawn care and maintenance to reservations and housekeeping, the trio built the company from the ground up.

“Stainless steel has no pores to harbor bacteria (like plastic), are resistant to chewing, and don’t rust or stain,” said Lisa Baker, GCHS president. “The buckets are flat on one side so they can be secured against the kennel gates, where they can’t be tipped over and can be easily filled from the outside.”

The new buckets will also be used in the outside pad area and in all of the cat cages, she noted

A message from the Property Owners’ Association of Deep Creek Lake

March 27, 2018
Folks,
The National Police Bloodhound Association (NPBA) will be returning to Garrett County to host its 2018 40-hour Man-Trailing and Certification course, April 28th through May 3rd.  The host location will be the WISP RESORT for bloodhounds and Law Enforcement Handlers from all over the United States.
Bloodhounds are generally docile and loving and these dogs are not trained for purposes other than to discriminate the scent trailing humans.  The general public should be aware the week of the training and the presence many dogs and police units; there is no cause for alarm.  The public should also be aware that although questions are welcomed, to refrain from interfering with a hound in harness which indicates the dog is working on a game of “hide and seek”
