National Road Visitors Center to find home near Casselman Bridge
GRANTSVILLE — An icon of Deep Creek Lake from a bygone era will soon have a new life.
The former Deep Creek Visitors Center, which at one time was located along U.S. 219 beside Johnny’s Bait House (which closed in 2003,) has been reclaimed by Mike Dreisbach and Jan Russell, along with Paul Edwards, director of secondary education for Garrett County. It will be used as the National Road Visitors Center, and will be placed near the Casselman Bridge. For more information click here
