Deep Creek Lake Vacation Rental Firm Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations & Sales, a leading vacation rental and sales firm located in McHenry, Maryland, is celebrating their tenth anniversary this month. Jodi Taylor Refosco, her husband, Joe Refosco, and her brother, Chad Taylor, started the vacation rental management company in April of 2008. Lakes Protection bill receives Senate approval, stalls in House committee

ANNAPOLIS — Senate Bill 501, State Lakes Protection and Restoration Fund — Purpose, Use, and Funding — Alterations, was unanimously approved by the Senate on March 15.

The bill calls for $3 million to be allocated annually to help protect and restore Maryland’s 16 state owned/managed lakes.

“We have gotten this far because of the outpouring of folks concerned about DCL and other state lakes,” Executive Director Barbara Beelar stated in a Friends of Deep Creek Lake newsletter. “Together, we have made a huge impact on decision making in Annapolis.”
