Take advantage of a wonderful opportunity to be baptized in the many rivers & waters of Deep Creek Lake! Admission to the state park will be paid on your behalf at the gate. Cookout & fellowship to follow. Whether or not you have been baptized before or have never had the chance – everyone is welcome to share in this event. Mark 1:9-11 “And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him: And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”
What to bring: A modest swimsuit, a dark colored t-shirt/shorts to wear in the water and a towel! Not required, but feel free to bring a light refreshment to share.
